The UNLR would like to invite you to our second annual Town Hall Community Gathering. Our mission, since 1971, is to promote economic, civic, and social engagement and to improve the quality of life of the Lower Roxbury community and beyond.
What does United Neighbors of Lower Roxbury, Inc. mean to you? We are building sustainable affordable housing, community space, micro business and green space, for this community.
Historically the UNLR helped stop the highway expansion into Lower Roxbury and other Boston neighborhoods. Over 2000 properties were destroyed through eminent domain and urban renewal. We are doing our part to remedy that challenge with building both affordable and market rate housing, community space, micro-business and green space.
On Saturday August 25, 2018 from 12-3pm UNLR presents an afternoon of celebration at 90 Windsor Street, Roxbury, MA. There will be live entertainment, free food, photographic displays, refreshments and historical and political information from some of our community leaders and trailblazers.
Come out and explore the happenings in our growing neighborhood. Enjoy good music and refreshments on us. This is a family event, everyone is welcome.

It is wonderful to be and feel part of a community that is rich in history that I can identify with dee roots. We have been and continue to be. Thank you Community!!!
